Ok, I know there's been quite a few posts about IR photography, but I still can't get it to work. I want it to happen in camera and not using RAW Shooter or something like that. My main question is, when I'm setting custom white balance, I set it to a patch of grass in the middle of the day. When I do this should I expose it correctly or under or over expose by a stop? Also do I have the filter on when I do this or not? Thanks everyoneI tried to set the wb to green grass about 3652 times...and it was never right. I just use a neutral gray now. Works every time. This will be my 4th interview for a promotion at my company. Last time I was the #2 choice and was told I was the favorite until the last question, and it just threw me for a loop. I have been working at my job since Feb of 2008 as a 1099 contractor. I work in an office Monday through Friday, and use all of my bosses equipment and have my own office, etc. Is it legal for him to keep me as a contractor? I have heard that when you work the hours they set for you, use their equipment, do the job the way they want it done, etc then that makes you an employee... I make phone calls and do marketing for the company, and I do not make much money, between $11,000 and $15,000 a year, but these are all 1099 wages and I am going to be hurting when tax time rolls around.. Hi, Please help me with a decision. I am a long time 35mm photographer and finally ready to make the jump to digital. As a Canon Elan EOS user I was drawn to the Canon PowerShot S2 IS. everytime i try to do a sit-up or a crunch my lower back begins to hurt. And i begin to get a headache. Two weeks later I figured I had to post something. The photos were tough going to say the least. I found my self too absorbed by the city and it's inhabitants to be picking up a camera. These were shot with the Coolpix 5200. Next year I will bring the D200 and set a side a day for taking photos. The festival is a 7 day event in Black Rock City, Nevada. A temporary city of 40,000 that literally leaves no trace. The terrain is one of the more scorching hot, remote deserts in the United States. Deemed an experimental community. There are no cell phones or money. Logos and street clothes are frowned upon. Basically all about being super creative and super beautiful. The days are filed with crafts and events. Hi-can anyone tell me if it's OK to separate egg yolk from the albumen or white and whisk the white up, to add to a recipe that calls for 'x' amount of eggs. My boss has all of these folders in outlook 2000 on windows 2000. She wants to set the permissions of the folders so I can read them. Right now she left-clicks on the folder and goes to "properties" then goes to the permissions tab and adds my name. This works, but there are like 100 folders! It's taking forever. Its almost that time of year when The Southwest starts getting active with thunderstorms stretching from Mexico up to The Canada Border. Ive been watching the Dewpoints in Arizona and they are barely at 30 degrees. For those that dont know, the dewpoints need to reach a 55 degree dewpoint for three days straight for the Monsoon to be offical. For myself the Monsoon is exciting due to thunderstorms that can last well into the night and for the last 2 years brings Severe Weather to my area, thus many new lightning photos after each storm. Ok, I know there's been quite a few posts about IR photography, but I still can't get it to work. I want it to happen in camera and not using RAW Shooter or something like that. My main question is, when I'm setting custom white balance, I set it to a patch of grass in the middle of the day. When I do this should I expose it correctly or under or over expose by a stop? Two weeks later I figured I had to post something. The photos were tough going to say the least. I found my self too absorbed by the city and it's inhabitants to be picking up a camera. These were shot with the Coolpix 5200. Next year I will bring the D200 and set a side a day for taking photos. The festival is a 7 day event in Black Rock City, Nevada. A temporary city of 40,000 that literally leaves no trace. The terrain is one of the more scorching hot, remote deserts in the United States. Deemed an experimental community. There are no cell phones or money. Logos and street clothes are frowned upon. Basically all about being super creative and super beautiful. The days are filed with crafts and events. Hi-can anyone tell me if it's OK to separate egg yolk from the albumen or white and whisk the white up, to add to a recipe that calls for 'x' amount of eggs. My boss has all of these folders in outlook 2000 on windows 2000. She wants to set the permissions of the folders so I can read them. Right now she left-clicks on the folder and goes to "properties" then goes to the permissions tab and adds my name. This works, but there are like 100 folders! It's taking forever. Its almost that time of year when The Southwest starts getting active with thunderstorms stretching from Mexico up to The Canada Border. Ive been watching the Dewpoints in Arizona and they are barely at 30 degrees. For those that dont know, the dewpoints need to reach a 55 degree dewpoint for three days straight for the Monsoon to be offical. For myself the Monsoon is exciting due to thunderstorms that can last well into the night and for the last 2 years brings Severe Weather to my area, thus many new lightning photos after each storm.
